Jelly Malenga

Jelly Malenga is a mentor, inspirational speaker, new author and transformational esteem coach. She is the founder and director of The Bella Project, a Nashville, TN based 501 (c) (3) enrichment organization for women and girls. Creator and event planner of the Ms. Bella (plus-size) Pageant. She is a coordinator for Nashville’s Annual African Street Festival, an American Heart Association stroke ambassador, Ms Middle Tennessee American Beauties Plus 2015, Miss Congeniality American Beauties Plus 2015 and a contributor for Femme Plus Magazine.

Jelly Malenga is the proud daughter of Essie Edwards and one of four ambitious siblings. She was given the endearing nickname Auntie Jelly during one of her mission trips to Chapelton, Jamaica. She has a passion for civility and participates in various walks and events in the Middle Tennessee area. She has a keen eye for detail and loves DIY projects. Jelly has more than 20 years of hands-on working and volunteer experience with youth ages six-weeks to 19-years-old, including special education and behavior modification education.
